Have the opportunity to always remember the night with a beautiful professional portrait by photographer Jill Blanchar at this year’s Conservation Celebration! Haven’t you always wanted a professional headshot for your company’s website or an updated photo of you and your spouse? This is your chance to have these special photos and mementos while also giving back to conservation. Jill is happy to make you look your best and provide you the opportunity to purchase your digital or physical portrait and has generously agreed to give Conserving Carolina a percentage of the proceeds. Smile wide!

To participate: Attendees will sign up using a link to register for the photo booth using their phone at the event. Jill will then take photos of attendees in groups, individually, or as desired. Attendees are welcome to have multiple photos taken with different people. After photos are taken, attendees will receive a text message link to their photos and have the opportunity to purchase prints or digital downloads. Purchases can be made for 3 weeks following the event using the unique link shared in the text message.

Live Painting with Nancy Joyce

Artist Nancy Joyce lives and creates out of her home studio located in Concord, NC. There she paints recurrent themes of flowers gone to seed and flight patterns of birds which illuminate her fascination with the observation of nature and time. In her most current exploration, Hilliard Joyce journeys through the creation of abstracted and untrammeled garden settings peppered with botanicals and freedom-filled bird imagery.

This year, Nancy Joyce has agreed to donate a percentage of all her art sales of her series, "The In-Between: A Celebration of the Unoccupied" to Conserving Carolina to benefit conservation. At the Conservation Celebration, she will be live painting a piece of nature-themed art and speaking with attendees about her process. This piece of art will be available for bid on the online silent auction that will be open the week of the celebration. Not many people get to say they watched the artist produce their most favorite piece right in front of their eyes – do not miss out on this opportunity!

Visit Nancy Joyce's website for a preview of her work.
