Charles Kuralt’s Hideaway 2-night Here is a priceless experience unavailable to the public! Anvil Rock Cottage is a rustic cabin on Grandfather Mountain. Here is your chance to have the cabin for a two-night stay and the mountain to yourselves. The cabin is one room plus a bathroom with two twin beds, fireplace, kitchenette & dining table. Includes passes to Grandfather Mountain, and a personal, guided tour of the six native wildlife habitats. Subject to availability. Donated by the Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation. Join Conserving Carolina’s Peter Barr for a short hike and 4WD adventure as he guides you and up to a party of eight people to these otherwise difficult to reach and rarely-seen stunning spots of beauty in the Hickory Nut Gorge.
